As a result of being crazy busy, I have been unable to do my favorite thing...update my blog that no one reads but myself.
My favoritest, Monica, flew in from Minneapolis for my 'graduation.' since i didn't walk, my 'graduation' took the form of me inviting a bunch of people who had never met each other sit in a room and eat food. the food was really good. i hope that influenced people to remember my 'graduation' fondly because i surely won't. i hate being responsible for other people's good times, hence the reason why this party was the first party i've had for myself since my 11th birthday.
this experience ultimately made me realize that i should either send out mini bios of each guest to all invitees so i won't have to introduce everyone and their mom to everyone and their mom. make sense? no...exactly...i will never throw another party.
i followed up said extravaganza with a trip up to San Francisco. Monica and I drove, arrived, shopped, awkwardly encountered people, got lost, walked, ate a variety of ethnic foods, experienced 'no-man's-land', found a forest, got attacked by a chipmunk, and drove some more.
highly enjoyable all together but it made me lonesome for my best friend.

Are you KIDDING me creme de la pete? When I called you, you sounded like you were comatose-tired, and you didn't bring up visiting me at all! I was so worried you didn't REALLY want to see me because you didn't call me earlier, and because we talked for like ten minutes without mentioning it! I had no idea you were wanting to include me in your night. So I made up some lame excuse when really I just sat at home being sad because my roommate hates me. That's it, I'm coming to LA.
